The SAAFCanister Delivery System consists of multiple individual canisters in metal or plastic execution, assembled into a galvanised sheet metal holding frame to fit standard dimension filter sections in air handling units. The SAAFCanister system comes factory-ready for installation. No special tools are needed to replace a canister. The individual canister seals and holds in the frame, due to its unique seal and bayonet-style clamping mechanism.
The SAAFCanister Delivery System is factory pre-filled with user-specific chemical media. Each canister is vibration filled to ensure that the media is uniformly packed, then bagged and carton packed.
A wide range of construction materials is available for the canisters, including stainless steel, galvanised steel, and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS). HIPS canisters can be entirely disposed of as industrial waste. Refilling is not required. Metal canisters need to be emptied before the media can be discarded. Always follow local regulations.
The SAAFCanister system can be filled with a wide range of chemical media, as well as custom blends. These include standard SAAFCarb media or impregnated SAAFCarb media, SAAFOxidant media, and SAAFBlend GP media.
Always use adequate prefiltration to avoid dust settling on the chemical media. This ensures an optimised lifetime for the chemical filter system without an increase in pressure drop. The prefilter should be a compact, pleated, or mini-pleated filter cell.
