SAAF TY Chemical Filter effectively removes medium and low concentrations of Airborne Molecular Contaminants (AMCs) from air handling systems, by utilising multiple media trays arranged in a V-shaped conﬁguration for maximum efﬁciency. Excellent Performance

SAA TY filters are designed for effective removal of medium and low concentrations of Airborne Molecular Contaminants (AMC) in fresh air and recirculation air handling systems. It is widely used in air handling units for fresh air and return air in cleanroom, at the same time can be used together with Fan Filter Unit (FFU) to protect the process and product against the influence of AMC. The multi-tray pleated media packs are arranged in a V-shaped to utilize maximum amount of media for high air velocity.

Construction

SAAF TY chemical filters, with metal cell side and replaceable media trays, are designed to withstand the most demanding applications. SAAF TY box structure construction filter comes with factory-ready installation and no special tools are required for media tray installations and replacements. The filter construction in out-gassing free to ensure cleanroom environment and requirements. The strong construction of these filters, with a supported pleat media pack, helps maintain a compact unitized structure under variable air velocities. The interlocked header and cell sides, along the entire length of each side, provide maximum sealing.

Media

SAAF TY can be supplied with a wide range of gas specific media or custom blends media which includes activated carbon, impregnated activated carbon, and ion exchange resin. The unique mini-pleating technology causes the contaminants to contact the media 3 times within the filter hence increasing filter removal efficiency at low pressure drop. The filter material is finer and smaller for better AMC contact process to offer higher removal speed.
